New technology makes it possible for us to complete more gynecologic surgeries on an outpatient basis. We routinely perform laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomies, which dramatically reduces hospital time, pain and recovery versus standard hysterectomies where a skin incision is made. Laser treatment of endometriosis, repair of urinary incontinence and repair of complete and incomplete prolapse of the uterus and vagina are some of the many other advanced services available. We now offer hydrothermal ablation as an outpatient procedure. For women with extreme menstrual bleeding, endometrial ablation is an excellent alternative to hysterectomy.
Our office services range from primary and preventative women's health care to minor operative surgery. Gynecologic ultrasounds are also performed in the office by our physicians whose proficiencies range from checking the size of the uterus or ovaries to diagnosing the location of uterine fibroids or polyps with an ultrasound technique called saline infusion sonography.
