Doctors John Weeman and Emily Benekos opened Wooster OB-GYN in 1997 and moved to the current office space in 2000. Dr. Anne Shriner came in as an associate in 2007. The doctors have a simple goal: Provide state-of-the-art patient care, in a caring environment, regardless of the ability to pay.

The doctors and staff of Wooster OB-GYN stay current on the latest healthcare technologies, while maintaining a personal relationship with each and every patient.

We promise to be available, amicable and affordable.

Available: Wooster OB/GYN always has a physician available for emergencies, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Trained nursing staff are  available for questions during office hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday). We reserve a few office appointment slots each day for emergencies, allowing our patients to receive immediate care without going to the emergency room. Our doctors are always available for deliveries at Wooster Community Hospital.

Amicability: We are committed to providing superior caring and confidential and compassionate service to patients during every encounter, whether on the phone or face to face.

Affordability: We will make every effort to make your medical care affordable. Payment plans can be arranged with our billing office for major services such as surgery. We cheerfully and charitably care for those who are destitute but respectfully ask those who can pay to do so in a timely manner.

Our doctors and staff constantly challenge each other to provide better care and technology. We have come a long way since seeing our first Wooster patient in 1997 and strive to make tomorrow even better than today.

Thank you for choosing Wooster OB-GYN.
